Getting Ready for Travel

September 17, 2026

Thinking about traveling locally or overseas for the holidays? Here are the non-negotiables you should keep in mind!

Passport and Visa - ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity, sufficient blank pages, and always check visa rules for your country of destination

Booking Confirmations - keep physical or digital back ups for your travel insurance policy, flight confirmation, and hotel reservation

FX Free Cards and Cash - avoid foreign transaction fees and ready a small amount of local currency for immediate needs like taxis or sim card

Electronics - portable power bank, universal travel adapter, charger, camera, mobile phone, e-sim or sim card

Health and Personal Care - prescription, travel health kit for pain relievers, anti-diarrhea, motion sickness, and allergy; and toiletries. Keep in mind that liquid should be less than 100ml.

Luggage and Packing Stuffs - TSA approved lockers, packing cubes, and air tags

Long Haul Flights Essential - ear plugs, neck pillow, eye mask, water bottle
