I get asked this question every single time.
My answer is simple.
My travel agency offers genuine care to its clients, something AI simply can’t provide.
While it’s true that AI can make a comprehensive 10-day itinerary covering everything from budgeting to logistics, it lacks real-world leverage and accountability.
Who will advocate for you when things go wrong?
When a flight gets canceled, who will sit on hold to negotiate rebooking with the airline help desk?
When a hotel overbooks, who will sit on hold to arrange your alternative accommodations with the front desk?
When phone lines are backed up, who can bypass the long consumer queue to reach a representative immediately?
When a car rental company provides a downgraded vehicle, who can advocate for the price discrepancy?
If a tour operator forgets to include you on the guest list, who calls their attention to it?
It’s the travel agencies.
This is why our role remains important and why AI simply can’t replace us.
